Your story is created to be easy to use. If you need help or have questions, please, feel free to contact us if you cannot find the answer.
Below are some commonly asked questions. Click the plus signs on the left of each panel to reveal the answers.
What if I don’t have social media or email? How do I share my page?
If you would like to have us create your story but don’t have email or social media, you can assign a family member or friend as a contact for you. They can contact us with details and we can provide them with the link to your story and they can distribute it on your behalf.
I don’t have computer experience, can I do this?
Yes, you can. We use a simple form that you can fill out using any common web browser. Within that form you can fill out the requested information and even upload your pictures and videos. It really is that simple. You them submit the form and in minutes we have the content to start creating your story.
Do I need to join or sign up to have a story created?
No, you do not. There is nothing to join. You simply select which story you would like, you purchase it through our online store and when complete you will receive a few emails, one confirming your order, a receipt for your purchase and a form to complete so you can send us the content (text, images, videos) for the Story.
How do I upload the images for my story?
When you receive the information form from us via email, you will go through the form and complete the information. You will see a section where you can add your images by simply dragging them onto the form. If, for some reason, you have difficulties, you can call us or email us and someone from our support team will connect with you immediately during business hours to assist. If after business hours, you will receive a call or email the next day.
What happens after I submit the information form
Once we receive your information form, we will review it and contact you to let you know that we have received it and are starting development on it. You will never feel like you are lost in the process.
Do I have to pay for an obituary?
Yes. Obituaries cost only $69.99 for up to 14 days of run time.
Obituaries can also be converted into a Visual Life Story, if desired, for an additional fee.
What does it cost to have a story developed?

What forms of payment do you accept
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover card, as well as debit cards.
Do you offer discounts if I buy more than one story?
Any discounts are made on a case by case basis. Please contact us through our contact form HERE to discuss any potential discounts.
How long does it take to have my story developed?
Once you purchase your story you will receive an email with a link to a web-form where you can fill out all the information needed to create the story. Once the form is submitted to us we will review the form and contact you, usually within 24 hours to review the form. Development time depends on how long the customer needs to submit the content. In most cases, stories can be developed within 1 (one) week.
Can I review the story before it is published?
Yes. We will send you a link to review the final draft. Once you approve the story we will make it public, unless you require it to be kept private.
How long is my story available online?
Your story will never expire. If you would like us to take it down, we will do so at your request.
What if I need to make an update?
If you need an update made to your story, no problem. You simply contact us HERE, you send us the changes you need made and we will be happy to update them for you at no additional cost.
What is the best way to contact you if I need help?
You can use the contact page located HERE or you can scroll to the bottom of any page on our website and see our contact information.
Can I extend the time on my story?
Your story never expires so there is no need to extend the time.
Can I make my story private?
Yes. When we use the term “Private”, we are referring to the ability to make your story “invisible” on our website when searching our site using the search feature. This does not mean your story will be invisible from searches on common search engines such as google and Bing. The term “Private” only applies to the Souls Remembered website. We do ask search engines not to list your pages but ultimately, that is up to them.
What if I decide I don’t want my story anymore?
You can contact us HERE and we can remove your story from our system. Once a story has been removed, you will have 7 (seven) days to republish it. After 7 (seven) days you will need to purchase a new story and recreate it.
